Look for our tent, with the banner shown above, and stop to say, "hello." We'll be there to explain the benefits of support legwear for men who begin developing leg circulation problems (cramping, achiness, varicose veins, etc.) as they enter their late 30s and early 40s, and beyond. Visitors can also learn more about the athletic benefits and applications for the warmth-without-bulk our legwear provides. We will have several styles of legwear on hand for on-site sale--a good deal if you don't like to pay shipping costs.
Steve Newman will be there--in legwear, to be sure--to hand out flyers and copies of recent articles written on leg health. If you have questions about how legwear can be of help with your leg problems, need advice on which ACTIVSKIN style would work best for your needs and application, or would like to see how easy they are to wear while going about your daily business, make sure to stop by.
Visitors to the ACTIVSKIN tent will also be given a free chance to win one of two pairs of legwear to be given away as door prizes just prior to the start of the Fitness Walk. Click on the poster image above for more complete details (location, etc.). We hope to see you there!
Good work Steve & Steve!

ReplyDelete"Pantyhose are for GIRLS"... not necessarily:
ReplyDeleteWish I could be there to meet you Steve. Best of luck! Im sure curious if you always wore sheer nylon over the calf socks when you were in your other jobs such as your highway engineer job? Just curious, if youre like me youve worn them always since I definately have the gene! Jack
ReplyDeleteNo Jack, I've never worn sheer over the calf socks in the past. As I've described in a previous post somewhere, when I was working in an office job, I typically wore the full-length support hosiery under dress trousers each day. Since I find the opaque styles to be a little too hot for me, except in mid-winter, I wore the sheer styles most of the time. The black ones doubled as socks for me.
ReplyDeleteDo you label comfilon products? Who is your supplier?
ReplyDeleteHow accurate this article
In 1996 L'eggs, a US pantyhose company opened a storefront together with a product-related bulletin board on the web. They soon discovered that most of the visitors talking about their products were men[1]. After conducting a survey[2] in 1998, Steven Katz [3] came to the conclusion that, in fact, many men were wearing pantyhose as a regular clothing item, and would buy a well-targeted male product range--if it existed.[4]

We use a variety of suppliers for the various products we sell. All of our products are made in the USA.
ReplyDeleteThe article you quote is accurate. It is from the Wikipedia entry for Pantyhose For Men. I'm not sure who originally wrote it, but I did some significant editing on it recently.
NOTE: See the Saturday, Aug. 22nd post for details on how the event went.
