Amazing the r...

Congratulations on your job, Steve. Amazing the randomness of chance in this situation. The right place and the right time.

I've long felt that full leg hosiery for men shouldn't be a stigma, because of the "women only" fashion precedent that was set this past century. But because of that trend, the fashion crafting for men will be very tricky. It is very easy to end up with the whole thing looking a bit silly for men, with echoes of a "feminine" appearance. Certainly opaqueness is key, either in dark earth tones (gray, brown, black, navy) or matching the wearer's skin tone. I think they look rather odd with baggy shorts. A more trimmed kind of shorts helps with a "continuation" of the leg line. Better yet, why not harken back to a style from the 18th century--knee length knickers secured snug to just below the knee? Also, NO shine whatsoever. The tights should always be matte, unless they're being worn as part of shiny lycra athletic outfit.

Perhaps in time there will emerge more notable clothing designers willing to incorporate tights in men's attire. A few have already done it, but in very small limited fashion shows. I'm still keeping an eye out to see what happens next. And if the fashion trend for tights wearing men does increase, it'll be quite a validation for ActivSkin. And rewarding for yourself, no doubt. :-) Good luck!

An absolutely wonderful story!
